My practice is deeply rooted in wheel work. Recently, I have been investigating different ways to slow down my process. I now choose to work in parts and finish forms off the wheel. For me, this allows for more consideration in components of the objects and makes me slow down during the process of making. Working with these segments to create a whole piece allows me to digest and think about what and how the function of the form is put together to create seamless use.
